Tomorrow is the end of the first half of 2020. It's been a great year for my genealogy, but a terrible year for our living. And it's not going to get better very soon. A cool day, high around 69F, some showers in the early morning. Up early, only 6.5 hours sleep.

This was kind of a lazy day, mainly because I woke up at 6:15 a.m. 7 hours at most.

* Worked on AncestryDNA matches (up 53) and added Notes to 5 matches, then started counting tree sizes. Got about 300 done.
* We left at 11:15 for Linda's hair appointment. I watched the church video, and we were home by 12:05 p.m. Had lunch, watched the gold tournament, dozed in the recliner and read the paper.
* Online at 1:45 p.m. to read, add to the Best Of post, and noted that Best of the Genea-Blogs - 21 to 27 June 2020 posted. Checked Twitter and Facebook. Wrote a post for Monday.
* Went in at 5 p.m. to eat dinner, watched TV, washed dishes and cut rose branches.

The calendar keeps turning over a new page. The genea-go-round doesn't seem to stop. It will slow down this weekend for me because daughter Lori is coming to town. Got only 6 hours sleep last night, so a nap today and tired tonight.

* got into Mini-Myrt and talked about the CVGS Zoom meeting, then checked AncestryDNA matches (24 new!), and wrote Dipping Into Denmark Church Records: 1863 Marriage of Hans Lauritzen Hede and Kirstine Sorensen. Added to the Best Of post. The physical therapist came to help Linda, and i pulled weeds for 10 minutes in front.

* Had lunch, got ready, and opened the CVGS Research Group Zoom meeting at 11:45 a.m. We had 19, the most we've had in a CVGS Zoom meeting. Even took a photo and put it on Facebook.
* Researched and wrote Dipping Into Denmark Church Records: 1880 Birth of Jens/Hans Lauritzen Hede after deciding to do it on a regular basis, at least until the records run out for the family. Checked Twitter and Facebook, then added to the Best Of post, and answered email.
* Went in at 5 p.m. to fix dinner, watched TV, read the paper, washed dishes, put out the trash, and walked Linda around the block. I'm getting older, I guess. It's good to huff and puff once in awhile, I think.

* Read email and blogs, transcribed the probate record for amanuensis Monday, and we watched the church service on Zoom.
* Had lunch, noted that Best of the Genea-Blogs - Week of 31 May to 6 June 2020 posted, and checked the AncestryDNA matchesd.
* Went out at 2:30 p.m. to mow the backyard grass, came in at 3:30 to cool off. Got it 2/3 done. Online to read, answer email, and finish up the CVGS newsletter and sent it to the email list. Rooted around in the Hilperton tax records some more.
* We ate, watched TV news, read the paper, and went back out to finish the back yard. Much cooler! Online at 7 p.m. to resolve 276 Ancestry Hints, then TreeShared 54 profiles to the AMT. Started the new Best Of post, checked Facebook, and forgot to write this post. Genealogy this day was 5.5 hours.

* Got into Mini-Myrt and said nothing, but chatted a bit. Checked AncestryDNA matches (none new today, only 10 in past 4 days. Went off to the grocery store to get food and stuff.
* Home by 11 a.m. to read, then took my nap. Up at 12:30 and had lunch. Wrote Seavers in the News -- Charles J. Seaver of Covina, Calif. Dies in 1934.
* Started work on the 52 Ancestors post - had to research a bit because I had no notes. Checked Twitter and Facebook. Continued work on the profile.
* Went in at 5 a.m. to fix dinner, watched TV, read the paper and washed dishes. Took Linda out for a neighborhood walk in the wheelchair.
* Online to read, then wrote the 52 Ancestor post. Figured out after I was done that I skipped 16 others in the ahnentafel chart. My mistake. I'll pick them up next week.
