Four months down, eight to go. How many more in isolation? At least one I think and maybe two. Day 47 of isolation. The water heater was replaced today. Slept terribly.
* Read email and blogs, added to the Best Of post, and noted that Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1811 Marriage Record for John Richman and Ann Marshman in Hilperton, Wiltshire posted.
* Just as I was getting into Mini-Myrt, the plumber came to see the water heater. We decided to replace it and he went off to get the parts. I missed Mini-Myrt, but that was OK. Got the AncestryDNA numbers then finished reading blogs. Talked to James P. at 10 a.m. Took a nap at 10:30 - exhausted.
* Up at 11:45, had lunch, then read, and the plumber came back at noon to install the unit. wrote Seavers in the News -- S.K. Seaver Dies in 1929 in Appleton, Wisconsin. Plumber was finished, I'm happy, didn't cost as much as the last one!
* Worked looking for Irish Seaver online articles and added info to the tree. Checked Twitter and Facebook. Worked on WebHints for random folks to add content to the tree. Wrote MyHeritage Adds the U.S. Social Security Applications and Claims Collection, 1936-2007.
* Went in at 5 p.m. for dinner, watched TV, read the paper, did the dishes, and pulled weeds in front.
* Online at 6:30 p.m. to write the 52 Ancestors post, then took a walk and pulled more weeds, and back to resolve 216 Ancestry Hints, adding content and sources to RootsMagic.

Genea-Journal - Wednesday, 29 April 2020
Another day - cool and cloudy, high around 72F, so not bad. Didn't really go out except to put out the trash cans on the street.
* Read email and blogs, added to the Best Of post, and noted that Papa Lee and the Grandgirls at the Zoo -- Post 615 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday posted.
* Got into Mini-Myrt and texted but didn't speak. Reviewed the presentation and edited it one more time. Wrote New "Ask The Expert" Series on MyHeritage during May 2020. Lay down for a rest.
* Up at 11 a.m. to eat lunch, check email, add to the Best Of post and get ready for the Zoom CVGS meeting. Got in at 11:45, and we had 19 attendees, about 12 from CVGS and 6 from SDGS. It went pretty well except I couldn't do full screen with the Powerpoint - I should have backed out and opened it again I guess. Strange. I was always getting bandwidth messages. Drat.
* Over at 1:15 p.m. and worked in MyHeritage record matches for awhile adding content to the RootsMagic tree. Wrote Dear Randy: "Why Do You Add Alternate Names To Your Family Tree?" Checked Twitter and Facebook. Added to the Best Of post.
* Went in at 5:15 p.m. to cook dinner, we ate, watched TV news, read the paper, put out the trash, and washed dishes. Discovered we had no hot water! Drat. There is a flashing red light on the tankless heater and drips from the heat exchanger. Went online to Yelp and got several emails - looks like we need a new one. Drat. It may take days to get one installed.
* Wrote the Treasure Chest post, checked Facebook, added to the Best Of post, and watched the new RootsMagic video about the Edit screen. Wrote this post. Genealogy today was 10.5 hours.

Didn't sleep well last night, but was busy all day until I took my nap. Then finished the day off.

No line to get in but I couldn't take my bags in. Wore a mask and gloves.
* Home by 1 p.m. to note that Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- Your Oldest Family Photos posted. Worked in AncestryDNA match notes. Answered email, and added content to the RootsMagic tree from the email queries.
Lay down again at 2 p.m. for a nap, and up at 3 p.m. to answer more email and worked more in RootsMagic. Checked Twitter and Facebook. Added to the Best Of post.
* Went in at 5:15 p.m. to fix dinner, we ate, watched TV, read the paper, and washed dishes.

Genea-Journal - Thursday, 2 April 2020
I managed to get out to the grocery store early this morning wearing latex gloves but no mask. We only have the flimsy white/blue masks and are saving them. Other than that, it was genealogy morning, noon and night. What else is new?
* Up early, and left at 7:15 for the store, got right in, and did my shopping, and home by 7:45. Still no boxes of Kleenex. I may make a Costco run sometime soon but dreading the lines.
* Read email and blogs, added to the Best Of post, noted that Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1692 Birth Record of Ruth Walker in Woburn, Mass. posted. Got into the Mini-Myrt ZOOM meeting and shared my story about my Whittle contact.
* Looked at AncestryDNA ThruLines and matches and added Notes to a few matches. Looked at 2019-2020 obituaries on GenealogyBank and added several to the RootsMagic database. Went in at 11 a.m. to take a nap.
* Up at 12:30, had lunch, and wrote MyHeritage Education Knowledge Base Adds Content for April, Seavers in the News -- Nellie S. Seaver Dies in 1925 in Wisconsin, and New TV Show "Roots Less Traveled" Starts on Saturday, 4 April.
* Checked Twitter and Facebook. Looked for Isaac Lanfear probate records on Ancestry and then on FamilySearch. FS had more with more information since they had estate records. Added to the Best Of post.
* Went in at 5 p.m. to cook dinner, watch TV, read the paper and wash dishes. Online at 6:30 p.m. to work on the 52 Ancestors post, then worked for an hour on the CVGS Newsletter.

Genea-Journal - Wednesday, 1 April 2020
April Fool's Day and I felt somewhat depressed this morning. It passed. We stayed home, but I was out in the air twice today - to mow the back and weed the front.
* Read email and blogs, noted that Baptism, Birthday and Housewarming in May 1975 -- Post 611 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday posted, and then got into Mini-Myrt for 20 minutes, but didn't contribute much. Looked at the AncestryDNA matches and saw 6 new ThruLines. Made Notes for about 5 of the new matches.
* Sleepy, so laid down at 10:15 for a nap but don't think I slept. I felt better at 11, got up, and added to the Best Of post. Had lunch, and finished off the taxes - sent in, paid, done. Another major task finished. Couldn't find something useful to write about, so wrote More of my MyHeritage InColor Photos. Vanity, I know.
* Went out at 1:30 p.m. to mow the west 40 (feet by 15 feet) and took 2150 steps in the process. A good workout with lots of bending and twisting and pushing and pulling. The weeds were high. I left the patio to sweep up some time and the boundaries need weeds pulled, and I may do that soon. Of course, they will just grow back.
* In at 2:30 p.m. to rest in the recliner. Figured out that I could download RootsTech 2020 handouts from the mobile app still, so I downloaded the ones I wanted from Friday to emails. I still have Saturday to do. Went online to get them off of emails and into the RootsTech 2020 folder and did a third of them.
* Checked Twitter and Facebook, then went out front and weeded about 10 feet of the lawn boundary and the rose beds. Lots more to do until I get some Roundup.
* Came in and added to the Best Of post, then answered email. Went in at 5:15 p.m. to finish dinner, Lori called, we ate, read the paper, washed dishes and put out the trash.
* Online at 6:45 p.m. to read, wrote the Treasure Chest post, and resolved 121 Ancestry Hints adding sources and content. Matched some profiles with Family Tree, and added more Seviers to the database.
* Added to the Best Of post, checked Facebook, and wrote this post. Genealogy today was 9.0 hours.
