This was a stay-at-home genealogy day once we got home in the mid-morning.
* Dropped Linda at the Y, went to Marie Callender's for the Men's Bible study group and breakfast, then picked up Linda at 9:45 a.m. and home by 120 a.m.
* Noted that Surname Saturday -- LNU (Mary who married Thomas Flagg, England to colonial New England) posted, and added to the Best Of post. Answered email, and then took my nap.
* Online at 12:30 p.m. to read, then had lunch, and noted that Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- Two Truths and One Lie posted. Checked Twitter and Facebook. Worked on Helen's problem for about two hours.
* Wrote the Ancestry and FamlySearch posts, then worked in Seaver obituaries on GenealogyBank. Added about ten obituaries and quite a few Seaver children with birth dates.
* Went in at 5:30 p.m. to eat dinner, watch TV, read the paper, and washed dishes. Finished the laundry too.
* Online at 6:45 p.m. to work more on GenealogyBank obituaries, adding notes to persons in the database and spouses and children when necessary.
* TreeShared about 110 persons (still have about 150 to do) - most of them the recent Seaver additions. Checked Facebook, and wrote this post. Genealogy today was 7.5 hours.
Genealogy and family research are an obsession for me. Yea, verily, I am a Geneaholic!

My Genealogy Friday - 19 January 2018
I didn't sleep well again last night, but I made it through the webinar.
* Up at 6:30 a.m., had my banana while trying to get into the webinar green room - finally did and it started at 6:45. Had breakfast watching Eric. Read email on my phone.
* Left at 7:10 a.m. to take Linda to the Y, home to watch more of Eric and then Vickie, read blogs on my phone. Left at 8:50 to pick up Linda, and home by 9:15 yo watch Tammy's talk. Noted that 52 Ancestors - Week 210: #289 Dorothy (Prescott) Hildreth (1702-1774) of Westford, Massachusetts posted. Added to the Best Of post.
* Tammy finished, and it was my turn at 10:45 a.m. to give my Discovering Jane's Roots story, and it went well, at least I finished on time! Strange talking to a screen without audience reactions. Had lunch, then participated in the panel and the Two Truths, One Lie game. Over at 1 p.m.
* Wrote New Records Available To Search This Findmypast Friday, 19 January 2018 and took a nap.
* Online at 2:30 p.m. to read, then wrote Genealogy News Bytes - 19 January 2018. Checked Facebook. Answered emails. Wrote the SNGF post.
* Went in at 5 p.m. to finish cooking and then eating dinner, watched TV news, read the paper and washed dishes.
* Online at 6:30 p.m. to get the Bible Study ready for Saturday, then wrote the Surname Saturday post. Answered email - got a research request from a CVGS member and spent 45 minutes on it - not sure I solved anything.
* Worked a bit in RootsMagic matching profiles to Family Tree, and adding content to FSFT for several Seaver profiles. Checked Facebook. Wrote this post. Genealogy today was 10.5 hours.

* Practiced the talk one more time, and made my intro notes.
8 Was going to take a nap, but remembered at 10:55 that the Rohr lunch was at 11 a.m., so jumped in the car, and had a Cobb Salad and good sharing with 16 other refugees. Home by 1:15 p.m.
* Wrote Seavers in the News -- Mrs. Nathaniel Seaver Dies in 1912, added to the Best Of post, and messed around with RootsMagic and Family Tree matching for a Seaver line. Sleepy, so took a nap.
* Online at 3:45 p.m. to read, checked Twitter and Facebook, and answered email.
* Went in at 5:30 p.m. to eat dinner, watch TV news, read the paper, and wash dishes.

This was almost a stay-at-home genealogy day. It's still warm here - mid-70s during the day, and clear. It may rain on Friday.
* Dropped Linda off, home to read, picked her up and we went to Costco. Home by 10:30 a.m.
* Added to the Best Of post, noted that Mount San Jacinto in January 2014 (Part 2) -- Post 499 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday posted, and wrote How Many Genealogy Blogs Do You Read? Took my nap.
* Had lunch, and online at 12:45 p.m. to read, then worked in MyHeritageDNA searching for matches, and then AncestryDNA adding notes to matches. Had an email from a 4th cousin on the Richman line.
* Wrote When Did Ancestry.com Last Index Ancestry Member Trees? Checked Twitter and Facebook.
* Went in at 5:30 p.m. to finish cooking dinner, we ate, watched TV news, read the paper, put out the trash, and washed dishes.
* Online at 6:30 p.m. to read, then wrote the Treasure Chest post, and worked in Ancestry Hints. They added over 200 today on my Seaver/Gates lines, and I resolved about 200 of them.
* Added to the Best Of post, answered email, and wrote this post. Genealogy today was 9.0 hours.

The calendar keeps turning day by day, and the hours tick off. Where does the time go? I was busy all day on genealogy today.
* Dropped Linda off, home to read email and blogs, picked her up, and we went to the grocery store. Home by 9:40 a.m., ad I put the laundry in the washer.
* Online to read, add to the Best Of post, note that Treasure Chest Tuesday - 1868 Voter Registration for Elijah McKnew in Tuolumne County, Calif. posted, checked MyHeritage DNA matches, and wrote A Ray of DNA Hope for my Lamphier/Lanfear Mystery. Tried to nap but didn't.
* Had lunch, then online to work in FamilySearch Family Tree on Vaux persons. Added some to the RootsMagic database.
* Wrote Genealogy News Bytes - 16 January 2018 and checked Twitter and Facebook. Back into the FSFT form ore Vaux folks.
* Went in at 5 p.m. to cook dinner, ate, watched TV news, read the paper and washed dishes. Online at 6:30 p.m. to read, add to the Best Of post, finish the Vaux entries in FSFT, then wrote the Wordless Wednesday post.
* Treeshare 100 persons, still have about 150 to do. Went into Ancestry Hints and added content and sources to the database.

* Watched the NFL game, ate lunch, then watched the second game. Read the paper, napped a bit then in the first half.
* Online at 2:30 p.m. to write the Ancestry and FamilySearch posts, noted that Best of the Genea-Blogs - 7 to 13 January 2018 posted.
* Went back to watch the end of the game, ate dinner, watched TV news, and washed dishes.
* Online at 6:30 p.m. to read, answer email, transcribe the will and write the Amanuensis post. Noted that Added or Updated Ancestry.com Collections - Week of 7 to 13 January 2018 and Added or Updated Record Collections at FamilySearch.org - Week of 7 to 13 January 2018 posted.

Whew, it was a busy day, mostly away from home. The last 10 minutes are the only time I've been on the computer all day. I did read email and blogs on my phone during the day.
* Left at 7:40 a.m. for Mission Bay to attend the SDGS seminar with Blaine Bettinger. It was an excellent seminar - lots of great visuals and handouts. Had lunch with Diane, Debby and Heather and several others.
* Home by 3:30 p.m. to watch the end of the Eagles/Falcons game. Read the paper. Rested my eyes. Watched the start of the Patriots game.
* We left at 5:30 p.m. for the restaurant for dinner with Blaine, Cindy, Del and Paul. Good conversation.

* Rested my eyes for awhile, then at 11 a.m. got on with Andy on WebinarJam and practiced the presentation a bit. Got to meet Vickie too.
* Worked in WikiTree for an hour updating Notes for several early White families. Had lunch at my desk. Wrote the Genealogy News Bytes - 12 January 2018 post.
* Checked Twitter and Facebook, added to the Best Of post, and answered email. Worked in FamilySearch Family Tree adding several Auble lines to my database.
* We didn't go to dinner with SDGS because Blaine's plane was late getting into San Diego. Went in at 5:30 p.m. to eat dinner, watch news, read the paper, and do the dishes.
* Online at 6:30 p.m. to write the two Saturday posts, then TreeShared 90 entries in RootsMagic, almost half of them new. Did more in FSFT with the Warren and Bigelow families - got everyone matched up and a few profiles merged.
