My genealogy Tuesday - 16 October 2012

It was a stay-at-home day, full of blogging, webinars, the debate and some database work.

*  Read email and blogs, wrote Tuesday's Tip - FamilySearch Family Tree Learning Tools and How Many Seaver Death Records Are There on Ancestry.com? and Enter Genea-Musings Contest to Win a 3-Month Ancestry World Explorer Membership and set it for early afternoon.

*  Watched Crista's Ancestry How-To on Death Certificates, and the James Tanner/Daniel Horowitz MyHeritage webinar on MyHeritage Record Search.

*  Wrote my Graveyard Rabbit article and sent it to Robin.

*  Worked in the database some trying to create source citations for the Canadian census records on Ancestry.com.  Had success!

*  Went in at 5 p.m. to read the paper, eat dinner, watch TV news and then the debate, and a bit of the post-debate too.

*  Online at 8 p.m. to answer mail, check Facebook, then worked in the database adding Find-A-Grave content and sources using MyHeritage (down to 1087 FAG matches to do!  But added about 30 total), added to the Best Of post, and wrote this post.

Genealogy today was 10.0 hours.
