My genealogy Sunday - 28 October 2012

Not much of a genealogy day, and not a good Chargers football day either.

*  Read email and blogs, finished up the Best of the Genea-Blogs - 21-27 October 2012 post and set it for after noon.

*  Stayed home from church to watch the Chargers game.  Very frustrating - lost 7-6 to the Cleveland Browns...neither team deserved this...Bolts now 3-4 and play Thursday night against the Chiefs.  Arrggghhhhhh.

*  Calmed down a bit and worked on genealogy for several hours.  Got the two "Ancestor Detective" talks/handouts edited and saved, and the Ancestry talk handout updated.  Put it all on Dropbox.

*  Posted CVGS Program on 31 October: "Discovering Jane's Roots..." and then worked on a post for next week while we're gone.  Answered several emails too.

*  Went in at 5 p.m. to watch the World Series, eat dinner and read the paper and then my book.  Giants won 4-3 in 10 innings to win the Series.  I'm glad it's over - won't have to watch it this next week and can get more done!

*  Copied files from desktop to flash drive to laptop while getting ready to go away next weekend.  Will run the backups starting tonight too.

*  Worked in the database a bit, adding content and sources.  Started the next Best Of post, checked Facebook and wrote this post.

Genealogy today was 6.0 hours.
