My genealogy day - 28 July 2012

I really enjoy my 4th Saturdays of the month - I usually get to stay home and get things done.  today was no exception.

*  Read email and blogs, wrote and researched Surname Saturday - MORRISON (???? > New Jersey).

*  Worked on the Saturday Night Genealogy Fun - the SNGF Genealympics I post and set it for early afternoon.

*  Tried to burn down my pile of "to be added and sourced" a bit - got about 100 new people in with events and some sources.

*  Worked on the OASIS Class 4 presentation, and got the CGSSD talk and handout for 18 August updated.

*  Worked some more in the database, adding sources for some of the English census records I have.

*  Went in at 4:15 p.m. to watch the Padres game, eat dinner, read the paper and do the dishes.  Pads lost to Marlins 4-2.

* Online at 6:45 p.m. to write Genealogy Fun with the SNGF Genea-lympics - Post 1, then work through the Smith/Vaux family and find death/birth dates in California death indexes.  Found a bunch or errors and corrected them.  Found lots of folks without birth places in the Hysong lines and added what I could.

* Checked Facebook, added to the Best Of post, and wrote this post.

Genealogy today was 10.5 hours.
