It was my brother Stan's 64th birthday and our friend Stephanie's 34th birthday today - Stephanie got jolted out of bed at 4:30 AM by the Christchurch earthquake, I'll bet she remembers this one! Here it was not much of a genealogy day...
* Read email before getting cleaned up and going off to the Men's Bible Study breakfast at 8 AM. Home by 9:30 AM.
* Read blogs, then researched and wrote Surname Saturday - Ruth (in PA) and then wrote Saturday Night Genealogy Fun - Your Genealogy TV Show and set it to post after noon.
* We left at 11:15 AM for Subway to pick up sandwiches and then to the trolley station to go to Petco Park for the Padres game against the Rockies. Pads lost 6-2, their 9th straight loss, panic time! Many fans were highly perturbed by the outcome. Stopped at Lolita's for take home food and were home by 6 PM. Ate dinner, read the paper and watched TV.
* On computer by 7 PM, read everything, worked on CVGS Newsletter for several hours, printed off the copy to publish, checked Facebook and wrote this post.
Genealogy today was 4.5 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 1.0 hour writing blog posts, and 2.0 hours working on CVGS Newsletter.
