Randy's Genealogy Day - 2 April 2010

We're back from our three week vacation in the South Pacific - Australia, New Zealand, Fiji. Interesting. Fun. Tiring. Not much genealogy! Got home last night at 6:30 and was asleep by 9:30, even with chills and fever (Fiji food? Dunno).

* Read email and started reading blogs, but decided to write some - wrote Bula! Randy's back - but snowed under... and Ellen DeGeneres has some notable cousins! The latter took awhile.

* Had lunch, started reading more blogs in Bloglines - over 1900 posts to read. Took most of the afternoon. Wrote Take the Casefile Clues Survey and Footnote User Survey. Continued reading blogs. Computer showed 100% use all afternoon. Finally figured out why - I scanned something and it hung up. Drat.

* Stopped for dinner at 6:15 p.m., then wrote Genealogy Days in Chula Vista - April 2010 and checked the CVGS and my own email accounts. Time for WDYTYA? Decent - I gave it a B for entertainment value and a C for records. Anybody notice the sticky tape tab on the 17th century document?

* Back after the show - checked Facebook and Twitter, then wrote this post. Yawn.

Genealogy today was 11.0 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 1.0 hour on Twitter/Facebook, 2.5 hours writing blog posts, 1.0 hour watching WDYTYA and 6.0 hours reading blog posts.
