This was a pretty weak genealogy day - some thinking, but not much doing. But the Padres won!
* Read blogs, email and Twitter and wrote Amanuensis Monday - the Will of Jonathan White (1806-1850) and Online Historical Newspapers and Directories sites.
* Got cleaned up, had a little lunch, took off for Chula Vista library at 11 a.m. for Table Talk, then to Subway for dinner sandwiches and Sears for a watch battery. Home by 12:40 p.m., gathered Padres stuff for bag.
* Linda and I left at 1:15 p.m. for the trolley station - got to Petco Park by 2 p.m., got tickets from Will Call and were in our seats soon after...the game started at 3:35 p.m. Walked around a bit - saw old friends, and enjoyed the game. Pads broke it open with 10 runs in the 4th and it ended up 17-2 (Pads now 3-4). On trolley by 7:15, home by 8 p.m.
* Read everything, checked Facebook, went in to watch 24, and back at 10 p.m. to write this post.
Genealogy today was 4.0 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 0.5 hour on Twitter/Facebook, 1.5 hour writing blog posts, and 1.0 hour at CV Library.
Thought more about the beginners class - need to start putting it together. Have less than two weeks now to do that and two presentations for mid-May. Tick...tick...tick...
