I did very little genealogy-wise today besides save a lot of CVGS photos from Diane G. to my computer files.
* Read email and blogs, then wrote Treasure Chest Thursday -- Post 282: Death Certificate of Edna Catherine (McKnew) Schaffner (1884-1974) of San Francisco, California and FamilySearch Introduces Searching on Largest Genealogy Websites - Post 2: Searching on Ancestry.com and set it for later.
* Did some research on Nicholas Brocke in FamilySearch and Ancestry. Also worked a bit on Johannes Able my 52 Ancestors guy, adding narrative and sources. Found several useful books on FamilySearch Books.
* Took a 30 minute nap after lunch, at at 2 p.m. we left for El Pollo Loco to get dinner for Linda, then to the trolley to go to the Padres game. Got there on time. I had pizza and ice cream, plus a cupcake and some cookies. Pads won 3-1 in last home game of the season, so now 74-85. We ended up 13-8 in attendance.
* Home by 8 p.m. to read, add to the Best Of post, save Diane's photos, check Facebook and write this post. Genealogy today was 5.5 hours.
