Super Bowl Journal - 02/01/09

I did not get much done on my genealogy research today due to church and the game.

Blogger posted 2008 FamilySearch Traffic Statistics before I had breakfast. I read my email and blogs before church, and we were home by 11:45 a.m. I read blogs, checked Facebook, and wrote Best of the Genea-Blogs for the week. I tweeted it, and then went in to watch the Obama interview and then the Pre-Game show. I took a short nap, and awoke just before God Bless America.

I predicted a 30-24 Steelers win yesterday on Facebook, and it was pretty close, 27-23. A good game - nice to see some offense in the 4th quarter. I don't remember many commercials - the Doritos ad was great, the Clydesdales was good, I missed the second GoDaddy ad. I hear that www.hulu.com has all of them.

After the game, I came back and read email, blogs and Facebook, then worked on my Project P database - had some genealogy data to input to Legacy 7. I played with Legacy reports and found that it will create an MSWord document with the field codes for the names so that I can create an index. That's one of the things I really wanted in my next software package - Legacy gets an A for having that feature.

Genealogy today was 5.0 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 1.5 hours writing blog posts, 0.5 hour on Facebook and 2.0 hours working on Project P.
