This would have been an "all genealogy" day if it hadn't been for church, the Padres game and dinner!
I was up early, had my email and blogs and Twitter read before church, and made some cards for Linda to hand out too. I had set Watch the WorldHistory videos to post this morning. We were home by 12 noon, and I set out to write Best of the Genea-Blogs for the week. Then it was time for the end of the Indy 500 and the Padres game. The Pads won 7-2 over the Cubs to make it 9 straight (now 22-22 in second place)! I came back in at 3:30 to read everything and try to figure out what I wanted to do next. Wrote Full military honors at Fort Rosecrans on the SSDC Graveyard Rabbit. I went in at 5 p.m. to watch TV, water the back yard and have dinner.
Back on the computer at 6:30, I decided to work on my pro-bono client work last touched in March...she is very patient! I entered all of the data I had into Legacy FT, then looked for more 1850 to 1870 census data for the families. Finally, at 10 I stopped and read everything and wrote this post.
Genealogy today was 6.5 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blog posts, 0.5 hour on Twitter/Facebook, 1.5 hours writing blog posts, and 3.5 hours on client work.
