It was a pretty typical spring Sunday in Chula Vista - the sun was out, the birds were feeding, church bells rang, the Padres were on TV, and I took a nap and did some genealogy work, but I didn't cut the grass or water the lawn.
After breakfast, I read my email, blogs and Twitter, and then went off to church. Got back at 11:45, and immediately started the Best of the Genea-blogs post, which took over an hour to finish. Then I had lunch, watched the Padres game, took a nap, read the paper, and played Sudoku. The Padres lost 7-3. Drat again. Back to the computer at about 4 p.m., and I worked on the OASIS class presentation until 5:30 when we had dinner, and I came back at 6 p.m. to work some more. Looked for more databases without indexes on ancestry - only found a couple. At 9, I went in to watch Desperate Housewives, and at 10 came back to write this post. Exciting day, wasn't it? I'm about 50% done with the Class presentation so I'm feeling better about it.
Genealogy today was 5.5 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 0.5 hour on Twitter/Facebook, 1.5 hours writing blog posts, 0.5 hour on Ancestry doing research, and 2.0 hours working on the class.
