Genealogy Journal - 01/25/09

This Sunday at the Genea-Cave was fairly active, but then there was no football!

I read my email and blogs before church, and set off the two posts I wrote last night - Escondido exploits - Genealogy is really fun and Best of the Genea-Blogs - January 18-24, 2009. We left for church at 9:15, and got home after the annual meeting at 12:30.

I immediately jumped into the Scanfest chat session, got my envelope of cemetery pictures and my grandfather's photo album, and chatted and scanned for the next 90 minutes. I finished up the album after the chat. I must have done something boring for the next hour, because all I remember is going in to take a nap at 3:15, and waking at 4 p.m. ready to do nothing else. I messed around on Facebook and Twitter, and read email and blogs, installed Woopra for some reason, changed the colors on Genea-Musings, and edited the 2008 CVGS annual report. We had dinner and watched TV until 7:30.

When I came back, I looked at the traffic reports for several web sites and captured graphs for a blog post. When Desperate Housewives wasn't on, I came back at 9 and did the 25 Things About Me on Facebook, looked through several photo albums on my bookshelf, scanned some photos of my folks found in an album, and read some news sites.

Genealogy today was only 5.0 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 0.5 hour writing blog posts, 1.0 hour on T/FB, 2.0 hours at Scanfest and scanning photos, 0.5 hour on CVGS things, and that's about it!
