I think that I have genealogicus interruptus - I hope there's a cure. The grandchildren being here the past week has really put a crimp in my genealogy work.
We were up by 7 a.m., but Lolo and Audrey didn't wake up until 8 - they both slept 11 hours, which is great - no wakeups! We had breakfast, watched the Olympics, got dressed and went to church - Audrey to the nursery and Lolo to Sunday school for pre-schoolers. She loves it. After church, we went to McDonalds for lunch - Lolo tore through her fries and nuggets and played on the equipment.
We got home and Audrey was asleep in her car seat - she woke up a half hour later hungry. She went down for a good nap after 2. Lolo didn't get a nap - but didn't seem tired out. I was tired from trying to make her nap - the better part of two hours. In between Lolo not napping and the LLWS and Padres game, I participated in an hour or so of Scanfest - no scanning, just chatting this time. Linda took Lolo out for a walk and I managed to post the Best of the Genea-blogs for the week. Audrey woke up and we went down to Mr V's for pizza for dinner, and Baskin-Robbins for dessert. Lolo ate most of a really big slice of pepperoni pizza. Audrey just gurgled and smiled all during dinner.
We were home by 6:30, fed Audrey, got Lolo her bath, played with Audrey, watched the Olympics on TV, put Audrey to be at about 8 p.m., finally got Lolo down at 9, and I read my email and blogs and checked Facebook. I need to send out an email about the CVGS program on Wednesday and post it on the blog too.
Genealogy today was about 3.5 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 1.0 hour on Scanfest, 1.0 hour writing my blog post, and 0.5 hour on Facebook.
