I celebrated Cinco de Mayo by staying home and recovering from my sickness - kind of a Sicko de Mayo. I'm feeling better thanks to the Tylenol cold & Flu pills. I don't know how people put up with this in the old days - I had coughing jags today that made me see stars.
I was on the computer from about 8 am until 5 pm, with time out for lunch at noon and a nap between 2 and 3. Then I was back on from 6:30 to 10 pm. But I have little recollection of doing anything meaningful in those 11 hours. I read my email and blogs, I posted twice on Genea-Musings and the Genealogy Cafe, I added info to my databases based on some email info from correspondents, I found out who H.A. Knapp in Riverside CA was (and added some of his descendants to my database), I studied my two chapters in Professional Genealogy book for the chat on Wednesday night, but everything I did was pretty non-focused, which matches my mental acuity at this point.
I'll probably stay home on Tuesday again, but Wednesday will be busy with the CVGS board meeting, a meeting in Lemon Grove and the ProGen chat in the evening.
