Randy's Genealogy Day - 20 July 2010

Off to Yorba Linda on the morrow - home on Thursday. Had a full genealogy day, save for the Padres game.

* Read email, blogs and Twitter, and posted Tombstone Tuesday - Happy. did some research on the stones with no success. Wrote Have you checked out Genlighten's services recently? and set it for late morning.

* Got cleaned up, and came back to work on the FamilySearch presentation. Right through lunch, and into the afternoon. Got it almost done.

* Went in at 3:30 p.m. to read the paper, watch TV, take a nap, watch the Padres game, and eat dinner. Put Elusive Ancestor stuff on the laptop, checked some websites while watching the Padres game. Pads lost, 4-1, to Atlanta.

* Back online at 7 p.m., read everything, researched and wrote Over 2,000 School Yearbooks on WorldVitalRecords.com. Wrote several posts for Wednesday and Thursday too. Practiced the Elusive ancestors presentation again. Found a glitch! Drat - hate when that happens. Wrote this post.

Genealogy today was 10.5 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 3.5 hours researching and writing blog posts, 1.0 hour on Elusive Ancestor presentation, 5.0 hours on FamilySearch presentation.

The Geneaholic will be dark on Wednesday since I'm giving my Elusive Ancestor presentation and enjoying the ice cream social at GSNOCC in Yorba Linda. Blogging will return on Thursday.
