I didn't journal the last two nights because of the Padres games. Genealogy work continued, however.
1) Friday, 23 August:
* Dropped Linda, home to read, picked her up, and we went to Costco, and ate lunch there. Home by 10:45.
* Noted that 52 Ancestors - Week 292: #503 Marie (LaTourette) Lewis (1734-1791) of Richmond County, New York and New Records Available To Search This Findmypast Friday, 23 August 2019 posted. Had a nap.
* Had lunch, and wrote Genealogy News Bytes - 23 August 2019. Checked Facebook and Twitter. Wrote the Surname and SNGF posts.
* Had dinner, resolved 191 Ancestry Hints before watching the Padres game. Red Sox won 11-0 and it was never close. Bummer. Genealogy this day was 8.0 hours.
2) Saturday, 24 August 2019:
* Dropped Linda, home to read, picked her up, and packed up for the SDGS RootsMagic Users Group.
* Got to the FHC at 10:10 (traffic and then a driving error - first one ever!) and we had only 9 for the meeting. Didn't get much done. Home by 12:30 p.m.
* Online to note that Surname Saturday -- LNU (Joanna, married Edward Winn, England to colonial Massachusetts) and Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- Ancestor With Most Unusual Occupation posted. Wrote the FamilySearch and Ancestry update posts. Resolved 76 Ancestry Hints.
* Had lunch, dozed in the recliner. We left at 3:45 p.m. for the Padres game - #4 with the wheelchair. Had dinner at In 'n' Out, and got there by 5:20 p.m. Red Sox won 5-4 in a good tight game. Home by 10:30 p.m. Genealogy this day was 5.5 hours.
3) Sunday, 25 August 2019:
* Read email and blogs, cleaned up the Best Of post, and wrote the Amanuensis Monday post.
* We left for church at 9:40 and went to the store after, home by 11:45.
* Online to note that Added and Updated Record Collections at FamilySearch.org - Week of 18 to 24 August 2019 and Added and Updated Ancestry.com Record Collections - Week of 18 to 24 August 2019 posted.
* Went in at 12:15 p.m. to watch TV, eat lunch, and doze in the recliner. Watched the Padres game, read the paper, and Padres won 3-1 over Red Sox, so now 60-69 on the season.
* Online to note that Best of the Genea-Blogs - 18 to 24 August 2019 and wrote Chula Vista Genealogical Society Meeting on Wednesday, 28 August Features Bob Chicca.
* Went in for dinner at 5 p.m., watched TV news, washed dishes, finished the laundry, and worked in the front plants trimming rose bushes and weed.
* Online at 6:45 p.m. to read, then TreeShared 161 profiles to the Ancestry tree, and checked Facebook, added to the Best Of post, and wrote this post. Genealogy today was 4.5 hours.
