My Genealogy Day - 23 July 2013

Genealogy writing and research, the Padres win, WDYTYA? - a pretty good day here in the Genea-Cave.

*  Read email and blogs, finished up This Week's Genealogical Eclectica - 23 July 2013 and wrote Search Records From Within the FamilySearch Family Tree.  Added some osurces to FSFT persons.

*  Answered some email, filed lots of sent email, checked Facebook, added some images to the RootsMagic database, did some online research and added content and sources.

*  Wrote How Much Online Information Should I Use In My Family Tree? and then watched Tessa's Tuesday Tip, tried to watch Genealogy Gems without success.

*  Worked in the Massachusetts Land Records and captured some index pages and some deeds for the Phillips line.  also captured some vital records from the Mass. Town and Vital Records on Ancestry.  Renamed all of the files and put them in the Family and surname folders.

*  Went in at 5:15 p.m. to watch the Padres game, eat dinner, read the paper, and read my book.  Pads won 6-2 over the Brewers (won 3 of 4, now 45-56).

*  Online at 8 p.m. to read, do more online research.  Went in at 9 p.m. to watch WDYTYA? and it wasn't on Cox 1036 (the HD channel).  Finally figured out it was on Cox 36 and wasn't HD.  Missed the first 10 minutes.  Pretty good episode - seemed more emotional.

*  Did more online research adding content and sources for awhile, checked Facebook, and wrote this post.

Genealogy today was 9.5 hours.
