My genealogy Funday - 31 March 2013

I didn't do a lot of genealogy work today, but I did make it count!

*  Read email and blogs, and finished up the Best of the Genea-Blogs - 24 to 30 March 2013 post.

*  Went off to church for Easter services, talked to Paul A about his mother's ancestry, and to Maria M. about her Filipino ancestry.  After going shopping, we were home by noon.

*  Watched the NCAA game, ate lunch, finally online at 1 p.m. to read, then write three posts for the Chula Vista Genealogy Cafe.

*  Back to the TV at 3 p.m. to watch the NCAA game, read the paper, and take a nap.  

*  Online briefly at 4:30 p.m. to check Facebook, tweak the Ancestry talk handout and presentation.  Went in to eat dinner, watch TV news and do the dishes.

*  Online at 7 p.m. to read, start the next Best Of post, work on a post for next week, then got immersed in Mary Jane Smith's family - found them in 1860 to 1910 census records, got all 11 kids, plus more data in Iowa Births and Marriages, Find A Grave, and Ancestry Member Trees.  

*  Wrote this post.  Genealogy today was 6.0 hours.
