Genealogy Journal - 01/04/09

If it's Sunday, then there's church, football and genealogy in about that order.

I read my email and blogs before church, and when we got home at 11:45 I watched football and had lunch. I read blogs at 12:45 and wrote the Best of the Genea-Blogs post - it took an hour or so. Then it was back to the tube to watch the second game, read the paper and take a nap. Linda is much worse today with cough and throat, so I went down to the drug store for cough syrup and then to Olive Garden to get food - minestrone soup for her, spaghetti and meatballs for me. I was home by 5:30, we ate, and she pretty much went to bed.

I came into the computer at 6:15 and worked on the LiveRoots.com post. I figure that I need to get some research plans together for SLC next weekend, so I wrote up William Knapp and Thomas J. Newton. Only 4 or 5 more to do! Then I tried to answer some emails - I lost some emails when my computer crashed in early 2007, but I found some of the earlier emails about Peter Sever of Burlington County NJ. Where did the time go?

Genealogy today was 5.0 hours - 0.5 hour on email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 1.5 hours writing blog posts, 1.5 hours doing research plans, and 1.0 hour doing Sever research.
