Genealogy Journal - 12/07/08

Sunday was pretty much a day of genealogy rest for me. Well, except for...

I read my email before church, then we went to church and were home by 12 noon. I read my email and blogs, and checked Facebook, then posted Best of the Genea-Blogs - 11/30-12/6/2008 before going in to read the paper, watch football, take a nap, and clean up a bit before coming back after 5 p.m. to post about Jacob Sovereign (1759-1845), Pioneer Canadian Tavern-Keeper for the Canadian Genealogy Carnival. Linda called for dinner.

After dinner, I was back on reading email and blogs, checking Facebook, then printing Christmas letters (I did the front page last night, the back page tonight - the ink has to dry) and then posted about the CVGS Holiday Luncheon on the Chula Vista Genealogy Cafe blog. I emailed the newsletter password and info about the luncheon to the CVGS email list since nobody else has done it. Then it was off to watch Desperate Housewives and after that to write this post, while still printing letters.

Genealogy today was 4.0 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 2.0 hours writing blog posts, 0.5 hour on Facebook and 0.5 hour on CVGS activities.
