My Genealogy Sunday - 28 May 2017

This was a fairly typical genealogy Sunday, although I spent more time online than usual.

*  Read email and blogs during Meet the Depressed, then we left for church at 9:30 a.m.  The fence folks were here painting and ran out of paint.  They will come back on Monday, I think.

*  Home from church at 11:15 to eat lunch, read, started the new Best Of post, and went in to watch the Padres and Indy 500 on TV.  Padres had a rain delay and didn't start until after noon.  Indy had a big crash with 15 laps to go, and I missed the finish - saw the victory lap and milk dousing though.  Took a nap, read the paper, and my Padres won 5-3 over the Nationals.  A 3-3 road trip and now 19-33 on the season.

*  Online at 3:30 p.m. to note that Best of the Genea-Blogs - 21 to 27 May 2017 posted, and wrote the Amanuensis post for Monday from transcriptions done last week.  I'm trying to do them a week ahead because Jamboree is coming and I'll need one in the can.  Noted that Added or Updated Databases at Ancestry.com - Week of 21 to 27 May 2017 posted.

*  Went in at 5 p.m. to watch TV, eat dinner, and online at 6 p.m. to read, then transcribed a probate record for next week.  Added to the Best Of post, checked Facebook, answered email, and checked the Ancestry Hints.  Genealogy today was 5.5 hours.
