My Geneaholic Friday - 31 October 2014

Ten months down, two to go.  They're going to be busy!  We had 9 trick or treaters tonight.

*  Read email and blogs, noted that Hallowe'en Names Revisited posted, and then that 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks - Week 44: #51 Elizabeth (King) Spangler (1796-1863) posted.

*  Got email that the OASIS class was cancelled again, drat!  At least I didn't copy all of the handouts!

*  Worked for several hours in the Eastham vital record books on FamilySearch looking for Elizabeth Dill's birth record.  It still eludes me.  copied some pages so I can look at them easier.

*  Wrote New or Updated Ancestry.com Databases - October 23-31, 2014.

*  Worked in the Hints - did the Pennsylvania Death Certificate database, and then 30 more in the 1940 Census database - down to 38 to do.

*  Decided to write Hallowe'en Pranks in San Diego in 1906 to celebrate.

*  Went in at 4:15 p.m. to read the paper, watch TV news, and take a nap.  Ate dinner, washed the dishes too.  

*  Online at 6:30 p.m. to read, write the Surname Saturday post and SNGF post.  Worked in Ancestry adding content and sources - down through Howe.

*  Checked Facebook, added to the Best Of post, and wrote this post.  genealogy today was 11.5 hours.
