It was a full genealogy day, but not the night...not in baseball season.
* Read email and blogs, wrote (Not So) Wordless Wednesday - Post 253: Abbie Ardell "Della" Smith of Concordia, Kansas and then Geni.com adds Record Matches and Smart Matches and set it for later.
* Packed up the laptop and the flash drive and left at 11 a.m. for McDonalds for lunch, and then the library for the CVGS program. I was the speaker, so was set up by 11:45 a.m. and talked to people. We had about 45 attendees for my "Searching Ancestry.com Effectively." It went 90 minutes, with many questions and comments.
* Home by 2:15 p.m. to read, answer some emails and write Sorting Out Ancestry Global Search Matches. Read Google Plus notes and comments, and Facebook, and checked out Mass VR books on FindMyPast.
* Went in to atch TV news at 5 p.;m., we ate dinner and I put out the trash.
* Online at 6:15 p.m. to read, then work in the database for awhile adding sources and content using Ancestry and AmericanAncestors.
* Went in at 7:10 p.m. to watch the Padres game, read the paper and read my book. Pads won 2-1 finally, now 6-15, 2-7 at home, and 4-8 on the road.
* Online at 10 p.m. to read, add to the Best Of post, and write this post.
Genealogy today was 8.0 hours.
