Another pretty full genealogy day with varied activities.
* Read email and blogs, then wrote (Not So) Wordless Wednesday - Post 142: San Diego Mountain Snow. Got cleaned up, worked a bit at http://www.archive.org/, wrote Using the Internet Archive Website: Books - Post 1 and set it for later in the morning.
* Printed off the CVGS material for the meeting, had lunch, and went off at 11:30 a.m. to the library. The Board meeting lasted until almost 3 p.m.
* Home by 3:15 p.m. to read, then created PDFs of my Genealogy 2.0 columns for the Family History Fair, and sent them to Olive. Checked out the new FamilySearch online presentations, and then wrote New "Research Courses" on the FamilySearch Learning Site.
* Went in for dinner, then read the paper, put out the trash cans, watch TV news and wash the dishes.
* Back online at 7 p.m. to read, then worked in sources for a bit - got through half the Ms. Added to the Best Of post, answered some email and wrote this post. Where did the time go?
Genealogy today was 11.0 hours - 1.0 hour doing email, 1.0 hour reading blogs and websites, 1.0 hour on Internet Archive site, 0.5 hour on FamilySearch videos, 3.0 hours writing blog posts, 3.5 hours on CVGS activities, and 1.0 hour editing sources in the database.

Your "genealogy day" blog is a great example of how to be organized and keep up with what you did that day. Sometimes, at the end of the day, it feels like I didn't get anything done. Your system looks like a great way to review your day, and it's a way to manage your time. I think it's brilliant! One question though-how do you keep up with the amount of time you spent for each activity?
