Genealogy Journal - 02/04/09

I was on the computer at 8 a.m., read my email and blogs, checked Facebook, then posted Family Photographs - Post 41: Carringer house. Went in and got cleaned up, came back and printed off pages for the CVGS Board meeting. I worked a bit on my ProGen homework, but gave up quickly. Posted about the "Webmasters Guide to TNG 7.0" Book and left to get lunch, stop at the post office, and go to the library.

We had our CVGS Board meeting, I presented the April seminar plan, the 2008 annual report, and the survey results in addition to my own research group report. I checked the shelves to see if we have Ryskamp books, and we do - 3 of them! I was home by 3 p.m. Checked email, blogs and Facebook, then posted Dynastree's US Surname Distribution Maps, and then worked on Linda's church stuff for awhile. At 5:30, I went in for TV and dinner.

I was back to work at 7 p.m. doing more typing/proofing for Linda's church lists, then sent them to the church staff. I printed off my Project P work to date, sorted out what census records I'm missing, and spent time in the 1870 and 1880 census records and found about 10 family records. At 10:25, I stopped and wrote this post.

Genealogy today was 9.0 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 2.0 hours writing blog posts, 0.5 hour on Facebook, 0.5 hour on ProGen work, 3.0 hours on CVGS work, and 2.0 hours on Project P.
