Genealogy Journal - 11/16/08

Happy birthday, brother Scott!

This was not a big genealogy day - Sundays rarely are for me. I did read my email and blogs before going to church. I was home at 11:30 a.m. and wrote Best of the Genea-blogs - November 9-15,2008. Then it was football time, and I watched the Chargers game right to the bitter end of an 11-10 loss. Arrgghh. I checked in on Facebook, puttered with email, and then took my wife out to dinner with friends from church.

We went to the Black Angus and were home by 7 p.m. I watched some of the SNF game, then answered several emails that I'd been working on. One kind correspondent gently suggested that I had some place names wrong in New Jersey, and I was able to figure out why. I need to change them in my database and on my web site, I guess. Then it was Desperate Housewives time - a good one! At 10 p.m., I came back to write this post. That's it!

Genealogy today was 4.0 hours - 0.5 hour doing email, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 2.0 hours writing blog posts and 1.0 hour trying to find my mistakes in my database.
