This Saturday was not a genealogy day at all - I had too many other things to do in my real life.
I was up early, but did read my email anf blogs before I left at 7:45 a.m. for my men's Bible study breakfast in National city. Then it was off to La Jolla to attend the CGSSD meeting - I got there by 9:30 a.m. and participated in the FTM class and then heard the speaker in the general meeting. That was over at 12 noon, and I was home by 12:45. Linda had just come home from Victorville, so I helped her bring stuff in and get organized.
I read email and blogs again, then posted about the CGSSD meeting here. We went down to church for the Ice Cream Social and choir "Heat Wave" show - it was pretty good, and the ice cream sundae was great. We were home by 4:15, and Linda wanted a nap, but took off for the neighbors to show the baby pictures all around the cul-de-sac. She got back at 6 - had no nap, but I did! We went to Rubio's for dinner and were home by 7 in time to watch the Padres lose to Seattle, 4-2.
After the game, I posted about the Carnival of Genealogy and helped Linda find her Sleep Comfort number again ... this may be a long process of sleepless nights in Chula Vista. We've had the bed for 5 years, and now she's not comfortable on it. I fear that Goldilocks has played with the bed number setter - I sure didn't!
Genealogy today was all of 4.5 hours - 0.5 hour reading emails, 0.5 hour reading blogs, 1.0 hour writing blogs, and 2.5 hours at the CGSSD meeting.
