I had lots of good intentions to make this a good genealogy research day, but circumstances prevented it from being little more than a blogging day. Lolo and her mom came in last night, and I was up at 7 a.m. with Lolo feeling really sleepy (see my post for yesterday about the Padres game). It went downhill from there!
I finally was on the computer at 9:30 a.m. when Lolo and herm om wnet shopping with their friends, leaving me home alone. I managed to read my email and blogs and make my Geneaholic post and two Genea-Musings posts (about the Carnival of Genealogy and San Francisco) before going out for lunch at McDonalds at 11:20. I stopped by the CVGS PO box to get mail, then picked George up for our weekly walk along the bayfront.
I was home before 1 pm. feeling really tired and sleepy. I posted about the Ellen Goodman article, and then I must have done something interesting for the next hour and a half but I can't remember what! I know - I wrote several posts for the weekend since we're going off to Disneyland again on Sunday for two nights! I went in for a nap at 3 pm, read the paper and watched TV, and then we decided to go out to dinner at 5 p.m. We went to King's Fish House out at Otay Ranch, and had a nice dinner, followed by shopping (I went to Barnes & Nobel for 45 minutes) and an ice cream at Marble Slab. Then it was home at 8 pm. to watch the end of the Padres game, they lost 9-0 to the Snakes.
I was on the computer at 9 pm., read email and blogs, and posted about the SDGS bus trip to LA Public Library next week. Then it was this post and I'm off to bed. I don't know if I'll get to the CGSSD meeting on Saturday or not.
